NO... the siege will not be lifted!

Israel will not lift its sea and air blockade of Lebanon unless Lebanese and international forces deploy at all border crossings, including those on the Lebanese-Syrian frontier to enforce an arms embargo on Hezbollah militants.

Syria objects to UN troups on it's borders with Lebanon and threatens to close it if UN peacekeepers are deployed along the frontier.

You'll note that UNSC 1701 says nothing about removing the blockade, but it does encourage nations to do their best to peacefully prevent arm shipments to the Lebanese militias. Some Lebanese may consider it a "humiliation", but isn't this sort of thing desirable nonetheless?

Besides, Nasrallah says he won the war. So how can Lebanon feel humiliation about a post-war blockade?
